Hilton hotels in the United States have required guests to wear a face mask since late July (read more here).
Hilton has now extended this requirement to all hotels in the Caribbean and Latin America. Surprisingly, there is no face mask requirement from Hilton for stays in Canada.

Here’s the update:
Face Coverings Are Now Required – Updated as of August 28, 2020
In accordance with CDC and WHO guidelines, we are requiring face coverings in all indoor public areas of all our hotels throughout the U.S., the Caribbean and Latin America, for guests and Team Members. Additionally, we continue to encourage the use of face coverings at our hotels throughout the rest of the world. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you.
Conclusion
Marriott already made this decision on July 31st that also includes Canada that is excluded by Hilton.
I would say that wearing a face mask is becoming more acceptable by the demographics after some initial push back. We want to all save lives after all.
