World of Hyatt has another promotion available to members who dine at participating hotel restaurants and give their membership number when paying then bill, earning triple points for all dining spend.
The system that World of Hyatt has implemented a few years ago works really well with the points being credited immediately when the bill is paid and the total amount of points earned shows on the receipt.
Now with the current Dine Local promotion (see on Hyatt’s website here) members can earn triple base points plus the tier bonus which might add up if you have a nice dinner or lunch at one of the hotel restaurants.
Local dining just got more rewarding. Earn 3X points on dine-in, delivery or takeout at participating hotel restaurants through October 8, 2020 when you’re not staying the night. Bring a good appetite.
Not a World of Hyatt member? Join today. It’s free and easy, and you’ll be on your way to enjoying exclusive benefits like this one.
Here is the list of the participating properties under this campaign:
According to the T&C of this promotion all restaurants located in the properties listed will be eligible for the 3x bonus points. A maximum 100,000 Bonus Points may be earned per transaction during the Promotion Period. No registration is required in order to participate and earn the bonus.
Here is an example from You & Mee at Grand Hyatt Erawan where I had a quick bit in the afternoon and the triple points were quickly registered:
240 points for $15 spent on some coffee and cake is not a bad return. You do the math how much you can actually earn for a substantial dinner that costs a lot more. Or a company event where you end up paying the bill. Definitely worthwhile!
I was very happy when Hyatt improved their program that it became possible to earn points even when not staying at the hotel as a registered guest. SPG was the first program that featured this option and Hyatt got so much input (complaints) from members that they eventually offered this as well.
Every year I’m collecting a couple thousand points (~ 10k) for dining at various Hyatt Hotels especially in Bangkok and Tokyo where I have properties at my doorstep and I like to visit Restaurants such as Penthouse at Park Hyatt Bangkok, Erawan Tea Room at the Grand Hyatt or the New York Bar & Grill at Park Hyatt Tokyo.
These are the Terms & Conditions for this promotion:
