Accor and AXA have launched a partnership that allows in-house guests to get complimentary telephone consultation, including prescriptions, for non-urgent medical support.
The telephone consultation is free of charge, and the guest can be referred for a more comprehensive face-to-face appointment at an appropriate doctor that must be paid for.

Telephone appointment – free of charge
If you would prefer to speak to a doctor from your hotel room.
If you opt for a telephone appointment, an English or French-speaking*** General Practitioner will call you on your mobile phone.* In most countries, a prescription can be delivered to you if necessary.
If you need to consult a doctor in person.
If you would prefer a face-to-face appointment with an AXA-certified local healthcare provider, the reception will give you the contact details of medical professionals (e.g. dentists, general practitioners), taking into account your needs regarding preferred language and opening hours, so that you can then book an appointment with your preferred practitioner.**

This is an excellent service if these doctors can fill necessary prescriptions based on a telephone conversation, and Accor pays for the use on guests’ behalf.
It is unclear what markets this service is first available, but it is eventually rolled out globally.
