Marriott has a special rate plan for Caregivers & First Responders (defined by Marriott as medical, government, military, or relief organization).
You must make the booking using corporate rate plan QWO and have qualified identification upon checking in. This plan has now been extended for stays through December 31, 2020.
You can access this offer on Marriott’s website here.
Note that there is availability on this rate plan outside of the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America (these are listed on the page).
The rate plan is currently valid for arrivals through September 30, 2020, but could be extended.
A reader previously confirmed that the rate plan is eligible for points and stay/night credits (and bonuses too).
It is nice that Marriott is offering discounted rates for medical, government, military, or relief organization employees.
Here are the terms and conditions of this rate plan:
This rate is bookable using any official Marriott reservation channel (Marriott.com, Marriott Bonvoy App, Customer Engagement Centers, or directly with a hotel) using the code QWO. All guests checking in under the Thank You Community Caregiver Rate must show identification at check-in (medical, government, military, or relief organization identification). This rate offer is good for arrival dates through December 31, 2020. Marriott will make any future determination in regard to extension of the rate as the current situation continues to unfold. Rate is not applicable to groups of ten rooms or more. Other restrictions, including blackout dates, may apply. Credit card is required to reserve your room. Cancellation policies in place at the time of reservation is made will apply. Please review the specific policies and terms and travel guidance at the hotel being reserved. Please note that a change in the length or dates of your reservation may result in a rate change.
