U.S. DOT Fines Emirates $400,000

The U.S. Department of Transportation usually (U.S. DOT), published an enforcement order on Thursday against Emirates.

Emirates has used airspace prohibited by the U.S. while the flight had been available for purchase under JetBlue’s B6-code that is a big nono.

Conclusion

Let’s see if U.S. DOT later fines Emirates for its inability to promptly refund payments for services that the airline canceled.

Emirates only needs to pay half of this fine, and the rest, if they violate DOT’s rules in the coming months.
