Now, IHG has also launched a targeted offer for a free night certificate after two stays by December 31, 2020.

Eligible members who complete two qualified stays at IHG® hotels between October 15, 2020 and December 31, 2020, will be awarded a free night (Reward Night) redeemable for up to 40,000 points. The free night will be deposited into the member’s account 2-4 weeks after completing two qualifying stays and is valid until May 31, 2021. This exclusive Offer is valid and applies to the original recipient only.
The free night must be consumed by May 31, 2021 and is nontransferable. The number of points required for a free night (Reward Nights) at IHG hotels varies by date, brand and individual hotel and subject to availability. Fees may apply to the Free Night.
A Qualifying Stay is defined as a minimum 1-night stay booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding US $30 per night.
