The St. Regis Rome is the oldest luxury hotel in the Eternal City. Inaugurated in 1894 as Le Grand Hotel by Cesar Ritz (whose reputation at the time was associated to the great success of The Savoy and the Carlton Hotel in London), it quickly became a favourite of the upper class. The hotel was reflagged as St. Regis in 2000, and it’s been thoroughly renovated since then, bringing this historic building to the comforts expected of a top luxury property nowadays.
Here’s official property photos and their description of their Cool Corner Suite:
Bathed in light and fashioned in tones of cinnamon, the St. Regis Suites illustrate an open plan layout with spacious living area, celebrating a sense of residential feel.
Room highlights: handpicked object d’arts and precious made-in-italy fabrics; handcrafted built in cabinet with writing desk; luxurious custom-made frette linens; majestic murano glass chandeliers; separate living area; spacious or walk-in closet; travertine marble bathrooms; separate bathtub and walk-in rain head showers; signature butler service; magnifying vanity mirror; extensive pillow selection; radio with bluetooth connectivity; third bed available upon request; connecting rooms available upon request; master controlled lighting and climate control.

Here is our video review and commentary on this room:
Nice room to be upgraded to, considering it sells north of 550€/night. The St. Regis always does a nice job when it comes to the ambience of their spaces, and this one is no exception!
In case you missed it!
