The InterContinental Singapore opened its doors in 1995 in the heart of Singapore’s Bugis cultural precinct, occupying a restored landmark colonial-era building with an attached room tower. The 405 rooms and suites at this property were fully refreshed in 2016.
First, let’s take a look at the official photo set and description from the hotel website:
These timeless Heritage Suites fuse rich Peranakan heritage with shophouse living, and offer distinct bedroom and living areas with a spacious double-vanity bathroom. Guests enjoy exclusive access to the Club InterContinental experience with a dedicated Club InterContinental Concierge team and daily refreshments including a la carte breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails and canapés.
Here is our video review and commentary on this suite:
Interesting layout indeed! Nice and spacious and old-school Intercontinental details. a pity you can’t access the little balcony but the safety reasons to keep them locked are understandable.
This room sells from $350++ per night, not outrageous considering the standard rooms start at $200++.
In case you missed it!
