Singapore Airlines has issued several policies to help its KrisFlyer frequent flier program members to keep their status and prevent miles from expiring.
They have now decided to extend Elite Gold Rewards that would expire between July 2020 – September 2021 through December 31.

Conclusion
I feel that this may not be the last extension of these Elite Gold Rewards that we see unless the global vaccination process picks up and Singapore allows quarantine free travel to/from (unlikely).
