Marriott Bonvoy is launching its first Global promotion in February that is valid for stays between February 16 – April 27, 2021.
Marriott released several targeted offers in December and early January (read more here, here, and here) that allow select members to earn bonus points in early 2021.

Global Promotion February 16 – April 27, 2021
Members earn double points and double elite qualifying nights for stays of two nights or longer during the promotion period. Marriott promotions, unlike Hilton’s, are only valid for paid stays. Award stays don’t qualify.
Conclusion
Double elite qualifying nights help Marriott Bonvoy members either renew their current tier with the Elite Night Credits’ help or reach a higher one in 2021.
You need to keep in mind that Ambassador status requires spending $14,000 instead of $20,000 in 2021.
