Qatar Airways has been restarting services to countries after a thaw with four countries that had instituted a blockade against Qatar.
The airline restarted Saudi Arabia service on January 11 and Egypt on January 18. The airline is serving Dubai again on January 27 and Abu Dhabi the following day. The airline has not yet indicated when and if they start flying to Bahrain.
You can access Qatar Airways here.
The airline begins with the first flight on January 27 and will have double daily from 28.
We will see only one daily service starting on January 28.
The blockage was ended on January 5, 2021:
It is a surprise that Qatar Airways begins serving these two destinations with a narrow-body aircraft that is mostly used for thin and tertiary routes.
Let’s see if they offer specials for their Privilege Club tier members (previous) who have not been able to fly with the airline for a while.
I am glad that the blockade was resolved, but apparently, quite a few issues were left unresolved.
