On Monday, Marriott enabled the registration for its latest “Better Two-gether” global promotion, valid for stays between February 16 – April 26, 2021.
As has been the case with many previous global offers, several readers have contacted us and told us that they could not register for it.
You can access this offer on Marriott’s website here.
Here’s the error message displayed:
We have been in contact with Marriott, and they told us that Bonvoy members should ensure that they have chosen to earn points instead of airline miles when they try to register for this offer. If you have enabled the earning of airline miles, the registration won’t go through.
You should contact the customer service, if your earning preference is points, for them to manually sign you up.
Here’s our article about global promotion:
I am not sure why Marriott has not been able to resolve this promo registration issue that has plagued the program for years (we have covered it numerous times).
The customer service can always sign you up, but wouldn’t most of us instead do this online, and it is also a waste of Marriott customer service resources?
