It has been effortless to rack up World of Hyatt qualifying nights for 2021 due to a promotion last year extended through the end of February.
Firstly stays in 2020, when this promo first started, also counted towards 2021, and stays consumed during the promo period this year, when it was extended through the end of February, all have counted twice.
You can access World of Hyatt here.
It takes few days for the bonus nights to post, as I posted last week. I have eight promotional nights to post and should be roughly at the 80 nights by the end of next week when the promotional ones are counted in from the stay starting on Saturday.
Club Access awards are useful for non-Globalist, and I tend not to use my Suite Upgrade Awards either. Hotels that I frequent upgrade regardless.
How long it takes for the double nights to post?
Hyatt extended their promotion through the end of February 2021:
Hyatt lowered elite qualifying requirements by 50% for 2021:
Combined with the halved qualification requirements for 2021 and double counting elite qualifying nights for the first two months of 2021, it has been very easy to reach the Hyatt’s highest status even for those who tend not to stay their properties a lot.
I am roughly halfway through to World of Hyatt’s lifetime status that requires $200,000 in spending (1,000,000 base points). Those stays in the mid-2000s that I credited to airline miles didn’t count, and they still don’t if you choose airline miles instead of WoH points.
Not sure why Hyatt is unable to show the Lifetime Base Points on their website? You can find it from the emails that Hyatt sends out.
There is less incentive for me to stay past 100 nights with Hyatt due to lacking Milestone bonuses. However, I do continue to stay at their properties that I like, and if there is another good promo out after the current one is over.
