Today, Hilton launched a new points sale with a 100% bonus and doubled purchase limit that is valid through May 11, 2021.
Members can usually buy up to 80,000 points every calendar year before the bonus, although the limit is often doubled for select members (check the purchase page).

Note that you need to buy a minimum of 10,000 points to get a 100% bonus. The account that receives the points must have been open for a minimum of 90 days (without any other activity) or 30 days if there is a stay or other credit.

This is rather a pricey hotel. The cost of a five-night stay would set you back $4,902,56 or 480,000 points ($1,900 if you buy the points).
Conclusion
The award availability is good at the moment, and reward reservations are usually flexible in case of last-minute cancellations or modifications (always check the cancellation deadline!).
You have to keep in mind that Honors awards include all fees and taxes that sometimes can be an additional 30% on top of the initial rate displayed.
The best use of Hilton Honors points is when the paid rates are through the roof, such as the example above, and lower cat properties with high paid rates.
