The Waldorf Astoria Bangkok sits in a 60-story tower in Bangkok’s central business district near Ratchaprasong intersection, occupying floors 6 through 17, plus 55 through 57. The location is ideal for those looking to explore the city, being a short walk distance from the Erawan Shrine, Gaysorn Village mall and both lines of the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS) Skytrain. This property opened in August 2018 and it offers 136 Deluxe Rooms, 34 Suites and a grand Royal Suite, ranging in size from 50 to (wow!) 3,000 sq. m.
Here’s some images and how the property describes their King Deluxe Room:
The floor-to-ceiling windows in these plush rooms offer wonderful views across the green sward of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. Guests can unwind with freshly brewed coffee from in-room espresso machines and stay connected with complimentary WiFi. Elegant bathrooms boast separate bath, shower and a selection of luxurious bathing products. Other amenities include a walk-in closet, personal bar, signature Waldorf Astoria king bed and laptop safe. Sleeps 3 with a rollaway bed and is subject to availability.
Here is our video review and commentary on this room:
They certainly make sure those cooling towers don’t show on the official photo set! For the rest it is a fairly nice and spacious deluxe room, that sells for about $300++/95,000 points per night.
In case you missed it!
