Choice has launched a new type of promotion that is valid for stays through May 23, 2021.
Choice Privileges members earn up to 25,000 bonus points by staying three, five, or eight times + 2,000 additional bonus points for each stay at Cambria.

Here’s how the bonus points add up:
- Stay 3 times: earn 8,000 bonus points
- Stay 5 times: earn additional 7,000 bonus points (15,000 cumulative bonus)
- Stay 8 times: earn additional 8,000 bonus points (25,000 cumulative bonus)
- Cambria: members earn additional 2,000 bonus points for each stay
Note that weekend awards at Cambria hotels are capped at 20,000 points through June 30, 2021.
Conclusion
Choice Privileges has not run a promotional like this previously. They have traditionally offered 8,000 points for every two stays, taking into account the base points earned.
You also earn extra for stays at Cambria brand that has capped awards at 20,000 for weekend stays until June 30.
Here are the terms and conditions of this promotion:
Registration required at www.choicehotels.com/promo/choice-privileges/spring-elite-promo before check- out. The promotion is only available to members of the Choice Privileges ® Rewards Program who register for this promotion, and then make a qualifying stay at participating hotels (WoodSpring Suites® hotels and Ascend Hotel Collection® all-inclusive resorts and casinos, among others, are not participating). Members must stay between March 29 and May 23, 2021 to qualify for the promotion.
Bonus points will be awarded as follows:
- Stay 3 times, earn 8,000 points
- Stay 5 times, earn 15,000 points
- Stay 8 times, earn 25,000 points
- Stay 1 time at a Cambria hotel, earn 2,000 points
A “stay” is any number of consecutive nights at one hotel regardless of check-ins or check-outs. A “qualifying stay” is a stay that is during this promotion at a participating hotel, booked through a qualifying channel (see Qualifying Channel, below) that is eligible to earn Choice Privileges points. Most stays are eligible to earn Choice Privileges points EXCEPT: rooms booked at rates below $40 USD per night, certain hotel-initiated promotions, reward night stays, complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, rooms booked through a travel agent or third-party online retailer including online travel agencies, wholesale packages, group tours, and stays booked using the employee discount or the friends and family discount. Available to U.S. residents only.
Bonus points are in addition to the base points earned from a qualifying stay(s). The maximum number of bonus points awarded to an individual member will not exceed 41,000 points during the promotional period. Offer is not applicable to groups and cannot be combined with any other discounts, special offers or promotions, except for certain Choice initiated rate discounts.

Qualifying Channel: Members must book stays via ChoiceHotels.com, the Choice Hotels mobile app, or 800.4CHOICE. Stays directly booked through Book by Google are also eligible, if the member adds their Choice Privileges number to the reservation prior to check-in. Corporate travelers may book through their online booking tool, GDS, or with a travel agent; however, reservations booked through Egencia’s Preferred Rate Program do not qualify for promotional bonus points. Choice Privileges member number must be provided upon check-in. To be eligible to earn bonus points, members must set their earning preference to Choice Privileges points in their online account. Any change made to earning preference will remain in effect after the promotion has ended, unless the member changes it. Please allow up to 4 weeks from check-out for points to post. Points from stays at some boutique hotels can take longer to post – please allow up to 20 days. Request for bonus points made by members who did not register for the promotion will only be considered up to 60 days after the promotion ends; request thereafter will be automatically denied.
