Alaska Airlines has followed AA and launched a bonus miles offer for taking two Alaska and two American Airlines flights between May 15 – September 15, 2021.
You must register for this offer by April 30, 2021, and then fly the two flights each on Alaska and American to earn 2,000 bonus Mileage Plan miles.
You can access this offer on Alaska’s website here.
Here’s a similar offer from AA:
Alaska unceremoniously joined the Oneworld Alliance on Marc 31, 2021. Usually, these are significant events with all alliance CEOs present with flight attendants from each airline.
Well. At least you can get some bonus miles if you fly on both Alaska and American, and credit those flights to Mileage Plan or AAdvantage. Nothing prevents you from fulfilling both either by taking eight flights.
Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:
Bonus miles offer is valid only for Mileage Plan members who register via the promotional landing page by April 30, 2021. Registration must take place prior to the first qualifying flight. Eligible members will receive 2,000 bonus Mileage Plan miles after completing two qualifying flight segments operated by Alaska Airlines and marketed by Alaska Airlines or American Airlines, and two qualifying flight segments operated by American Airlines and marketed by Alaska Airlines or American Airlines between May 15, 2021 and September 15, 2021. This is a one-time only bonus and a member can earn a maximum of 2,000 bonus miles with this promotion. To qualify, each flight must be eligible to earn Mileage Plan miles and must be credited to your Mileage Plan account (if booking on American’s website, select Alaska’s loyalty program and input your Mileage Plan number for the flight to qualify). Not valid on free or award travel. Bonus miles do not count toward Mileage Plan elite status. All Mileage Plan terms and conditions of membership apply.
