Norwegian, a troubled Norwegian airline, going through restructuring and which has retracted from transatlantic flying, is reminding members that they need to act by the end of today for their Cash Points not to expire.
Norwegian Reward members have earned CashPoints from Norwegian flights and other activities, such as credit cards issued in select markets.
You can access Norwegian here.
You need to click the link on the email that Norwegian sent you to extend the points:
I would say that these Cash Points’ value is likely big flat zero and, whether you extend them or not, doesn’t do much.
Norwegian may continue flying within Norway and in and around Nordic countries. It is unlikely that they ever return to transatlantic flying, although there is a new airline from Norway that plans to do just that – Norse (read more here).
I did extend my points and will earn cashback from the Bank Norwegian issued credit card, instead of Cash Points, that I mainly use to withdraw cash within the Euro-area (no fees even when withdrawing from your card as long as you pay your bill in full by the due date).
