A LoyaltyLobby reader alerted us to The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) website offering a free Leaders Club membership for a year that usually set you back $175.
LHW is a collection of around 400 hotels worldwide that all carry their distinctive brand while loosely affiliated with the chain.

The free membership is featured on the home page as well as on a pop-up. It appears that each code for sign-up is unique, so you should go to the LHW’s home page to get yours.

The page displays the price as zero.
Once you fill-up the required information and continue, there is a spinning wheel.
And it errors out at the end.
Conclusion
There are some LHW hotels that I would like to stay at, such as the Hotel Kämp in Helsinki that previously was part of Starwood’s Luxury Collection.
I would not pay for the Leaders Club membership, but if I can get the membership for free, why not? It could be perhaps even worth paying if you frequent their hotels often.
