Aegean Miles+Bonus Extends Member Tiers By 12-Months (Select Members)

Aegean Miles+Bonus extended member tiers by 6 months back in March 2020 (read more here) and lowered tier qualification requirements by 25% in October (read more here).

The airline extended tiers of some members who had not qualified – very few have under the current situation in Europe, by full 12 months in March (read more here) and has done another batch for those expiring in April.

In Miles+Bonus, we appreciate your loyalty and continuous preference to AEGEAN and Olympic Air, and we proceed to the extension of your Gold tier for 12 more months!

Therefore, you can continue enjoying all your Gold tier benefits up until 20.04.22.

Airlines don’t have any other choice than to extend member tiers by a year or two because many markets have not allowed leisure travel.

Aegean has not announced a blanket status extension policy but appears to be rolling tiers by 12-months when they expire, at least for some.

Greece hopes, however, to start welcoming foreign tourists from April, first from Europe and then on May 14, 2021, from elsewhere (read more here).
