Vacasa’s Premier Inventory in Top Travel Destinations Now Available to Book

PORTLAND, Ore., (May 20, 2021) – Vacasa, North America’s leading vacation rental platform, today announced that select vacation rental properties will be available via Homes & Villas by Marriott International, the hospitality company’s premium home rental offering. The new partnership and addition of 6,500 select vacation homes, combined with 4,000 properties from Vacasa’s acquisition of TurnKey, makes Vacasa the leading supplier of properties to Homes & Villas by Marriott International.

These additions provide guests, including the 150 million members of Marriott International’s award-winning travel program Marriott Bonvoy, even more extraordinary options to choose from when booking travel from among Marriott International’s 30 hotel brands and more than 25,000 home rental properties around the world.

Homes & Villas by Marriott International will feature Vacasa’s top listings and include everything from popular lakefront vacation homes, to cozy ski chalets, to stunning beachfront condos. Whether guests are looking for a large pool, space to cook a gourmet meal outdoors, a unique hot tub or breathtaking views, Vacasa homes have the amenities that guests book most.

“We’re honored to be a part of Homes & Villas by Marriott International and to be able to offer the Marriott traveler an opportunity to explore professionally managed vacation homes by Vacasa,” said Mike Dodson, Chief Revenue Officer for Vacasa. “We are aware that Marriott Bonvoy™ members in particular have a variety of options when they travel and are confident that, like so many others, they will appreciate the ability to select the vacation rental features and amenities that best suit their vacation needs.”

Marriott Bonvoy™ members can now earn and redeem points by booking select Vacasa homes directly on Homes & Villas by Marriott International. For more information and answers to commonly asked questions or to sign up as a Marriott Bonvoy™ member, visit here.

Before being added to the Homes & Villas by Marriott International portfolio, all Vacasa properties were audited and reviewed by Marriott International to meet the company’s high standards for regulation, design, safety and amenities. Vacasa properties available to book through Homes & Villas by Marriott International are located throughout 30 states, Canada and Mexico.

“As we add inventory to Vacasa’s growing portfolio, organically and through acquisitions like TurnKey, we plan to expand our offerings with Homes & Villas by Marriott International and look forward to a long-term relationship,” added Dodson.

Conclusion

It is quite a turn of events that Hyatt’s Oasis Collection ends up, at least partially, under Marriott’s Homes & Villas, as Vacasa acquired it back in 2018 (read more here).

Wyndham, back in January, expanded its partnership with Vacasa and added more than 15,000 homes that are bookable using Wyndham Rewards points.

Many of the Homes & Villas properties may be sold under several platforms. You should always check to find out who has the best price.
