The InterContinental Bangkok is a 381-room luxury hotel located along Ploenchit Road, on a very centric location with easy access to the BTS skytrain network, which makes it convenient for those willing to explore the city. Formerly branded as Le Royal Meridien, this property was reflagged as an InterContinental in 2003, and the rooms and interiors were refurbished and refreshed in 2009.

A 67-square-meter suite giving on to Bangkok skyline views. The separate bedroom and living area feature a king-sized bed with Sealy Posturepedic mattress, contemporary décor and plush furnishings from which to relax and take in the view.

Communication and entertainment amenities include in-room movies, two LED TVs with DVD player and two phone lines. Additional features such as electronic safe, complimentary coffee and tea facilities and daily fresh fruits further ensure security, convenience and comfort.

Very nice room and lovely décor! You can tell the bathroom style doesn’t quite match the bedroom’s, but as noted on the video they weren’t likely touched during the 2009 refurbishment.
Luxury hotels in Thailand are usually quite affordable, and this is not the exception. This suite sells for about $130++/night, while Deluxe (base) rooms sell for about $85/night or 24,000 points (prices checked for December 2020!)
