This week as a Fabulous Fridays, we decided to feature two informative pre-arrival emails that aren’t trying to sell you overpriceD hotel cars to/from the airport but prove rather valuable information.
These two emails are from Hilton hotels in Europe; Hilton Athens, where I stayed, and Hilton Paris CDG Airport, from a friend, although I have stayed at that property several times.

I like it when hotels are organized and provide a pre-stay email, preferably if I have not visited the hotel recently and/or a welcome letter spelling out the elite benefits. I am not, however, too fond of those that serve no other purpose than trying to sell you extra services.
These emails come in handy, too, if you need to ask questions about the stay, like I emailed the Hilton to see the vaccination or test required to use the fitness center (one jab + previous infection was enough).
I don’t understand hotels that neither have a pre-arrival email nor a prepared letter about the elite benefits that the guests are eligible for, such as lounge substitution (when, where & what) and breakfast hours.
