Hilton launched a new initiative on July 1 that members apparently had been asking for and replaced the Gold & Diamond member breakfast for two with a daily Food and Beverage credit that could be used towards breakfast or other F&B expenses.
This daily F&B credit is not cumulative and would need to be used daily. There have been many issues with it, starting that it rarely covers what was previously considered a Gold or Diamond member breakfast at the same hotels.
You can access Hilton here.
Because the “temporary” initiate has been ongoing for a month, we would like to hear from our readers about their experiences with this credit and usage of it.

Here are our pieces about the breakfast issues:
I am glad that I don’t have to travel within the United States, where the owners of these branded hotels, not just Hilton, are trying to do whatever they can to cut costs and elite benefits.
Members should evaluate at what point it makes sense to be loyal to any one chain if there are no concrete benefits?
Breakfast is not a make or break for me, as I tend to skip it on most mornings, but I understand how important it is to most.
The Hilton’s that I have frequented throughout the pandemic have always provided the services that I have accustomed to as a Diamond member, including breakfast, and have 20+ nights booked with the chain for this month. So I don’t expect this record to break.
I feel bad for the members that stay in the US and need to put up with this, essentially, crap.
