Marriott has a Healthcare Heroes rate plan for qualified medical professionals in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Previously the expiry of this offer was unclear, but it is now set to run through December 31, 2021.
There used to be a different rate plan for Americas, but Marriott has now discontinued that offer.
You can access Marriott’s landing page for this offer in Malaysia here.
I checked Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, South Africa, Italy, Germany, Kapan, Australia, and UAE. The rate plan was available at some hotels but rarely at all.
You need to use the HJH corporate booking code when making the reservation to bring up these rates.
You need to use corporate/rate code HJH to bring up these Healthcare Heroes-rates. In addition, you need to have a valid Medical or Healthcare ID when checking in.
It is good that Marriott has decided to extend this Healthcare Heroes rate plan for stays through the end of 2021.
The availability of this HJH is not as good as it used to be, but eligible healthcare sector employees can usually save significantly at hotels that have it loaded.
Here are the short terms of this rate plan:
A valid Medical / Healthcare ID is required at check in. Offer must fall within valid dates and is only valid through the stay window end date. Limited number of rooms are available for this promotion. Tax is additional. Offer does not apply to groups of 10 or more rooms. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotions. Blackout dates may apply. Advance reservations required. Other restrictions apply. Rates are per room, per night and based on availability at the time of reservations.
