Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is not your typical Sheraton. Although having Sheraton on its name, this property is part of the Luxury Collection Hotels brand. The hotel first opened on 1996 and offers 420 guest rooms including 31 Grande Suite, 3 Specialty Suites and 3 Thai-themed Suites. Located in the heart of downtown Bangkok with a convenient link from the lobby to the BTS Asok SkyTrain and MRT Sukhumvit underground stations, this property is convenient both for corporate and leisure travelers, as it is close to the business district and shopping malls such as Terminal 21, The EM District, Central Embassy, Siam Paragon, and CentralWorld.
Here’s some official pictures and the property’s description of their Rajah Suite:
In the middle of each bedroom stands a signature Luxury Collection bed resting atop an intricately carved teak bed frame. Smooth 300-thread-count cotton sheets, lightweight duvets and plump hypoallergenic pillows create a cocoon of comfort.
In addition to the superb interiors, the Rajah Suite feature private lush gardens and relaxation areas nestled among local fauna and orchid flora. The patios with handcrafted teak furniture and a graceful dining and sitting area make it an idyllic spot to entertain gracefully outdoors.
Here is our video review and commentary on this suite:
This property is a little oasis in the middle of bustling downtown Bangkok, and this specialty suite with that luscious, green terrace is not your typical suite in this part of the city. This suite (also not your typical platinum upgrade) is selling for $280++ or 65k points/night for the next months, but prices on non-COVID times should be higher.
