Hilton yesterday sent out emails with a red box in the middle and it seems that IHG decided to counter-attack with their version of it.
IHG sent out the email above with no subject line and with a small red box that I didn’t dare to click because, who knows, it may have lead to an account audit.
IHG today sent out the corrected version:
It was about the bonus opportunity that we wrote about last month.
This is the second time I have received an incorrect email from IHG that they have then corrected within a day with the Oops! one. I wonder if this may be a marketing tactic to get members curious about what IHG was emailing them about?
