Alaska Airlines today rolled out status extensions into 2022 and offers 50% bonus EQMs (Elite Qualifying Miles) on AS flights through the end of the year (it was about to run out).
The airline will also have a fast track offer for elite Mileage Plan members to retain their tier based on flight activity January – April 2022 that they hinted about.

Status Extensions
Members in the United States will have their status extended through April 30 and those in Canada until December 31, 2022.
Bonus EQM
Alaska Airlines has extended the 50% bonus EQM campaign through the end of 2021. Mileage Plan members earn a 50% elite miles boost on Alaska Airlines marketed and operated flights, including Horizon Air and SkyWest.
January – April 2022 Fast Track
Alaska will also offer a status fast track for members who fly on the airline January – April next year. The airlines will later announce the exact requirements.

Delta Air Lines already extended everyone’s tier by an additional year. It seems that Alaska will only for those whose account address is outside of the United States.
Business travel is still significantly down, and likely many won’t qualify this year. So let’s see what kind of fast track Alaska puts forward for the first four months of 2022.
