Lufthansa owned, and Miles&More integrated “budget” carriers of Eurowings (short-haul) and recently launched Eurowings Discover (long-haul) have launched a bonus miles campaign for flights this fall.
Miles&More members earn double miles (remember that the miles earned are directly dependent on the price) for flights through the end of 2021.
You can access and register for these offers here and here.
Eurowings (short-haul)
Miles&More members earn double miles for all flights and fare classes through December 31, 2021. You must register for this promotion by November 30.
Miles&More members without status earn 8 miles per euro, and those with one 10 miles per euro.
Eurowings Discover (long-haul)
Miles&More members earn double miles for flights November 1 – December 31, 2021, that are booked October 1 – 31. You must register for this offer by October 31.
Miles&More members without status earn 8 miles per euro, and those with one 10 miles per euro.
Conclusion
It isn’t easy to get too excited about these two, or any other airline promotion, with a revenue-based program. The number of bonus miles you usually earn, unless you throw money away, tends to be abysmal.
You earn several miles by credited premium Lufthansa group flights, such as LH first class, when discounted, to partner airlines.
