England has today updated the RED LIST countries from which the travelers need to quarantine upon returning home. The list will be in effect from 4 AM on October 11, 2021.
47 countries have been removed from the list, and only 7 countries currently remain, all of them in Latin America or the Caribbean.
You can access England’s page for Covid-19 and travel here.
Fully vaccinated travelers from non-RED list countries still need to have a Covid test paid and booked before arriving in England. The test is taken on or before day two of their arrival.
Red List Countries (Only 7 Left):
- Dominican Republic
Countries Removed From The Red List:
- Cape Verde
- Congo (Democratic Republic)
- Costa Rica
- French Guiana
- Sierra Leone
- South Africa
- Trinidad and Tobago
Sensible move from England that the regions (Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) will likely also adopt.
There is soon a new option for the test that should be conducted on day two. You can do it yourself and upload the results with an ID for verification purposes—no need to visit a test provider or conduct it using an online video.
