Good that Qantas now discounts domestic awards when the market is slowly opening up (for those living in Australia). Still, British Airways Avios and American Airlines AAdvantage are both excellent value for Qantas awards.

The 30% discount will be automatically applied to the Qantas Points required for eligible flights booked between 10.00am (AEDT) 8 November 2021 and 11.59pm (AEST) 14 November 2021 for travel on Qantas Airways from 1 December 2021 until 27 October 2022, and for travel on Jetstar from 1 December 2021 until 31 August 2022. The discount applies to the Qantas Points amount required only and does not apply to the taxes, fees and carrier charges payable to Qantas (excluding any amounts payable to third parties at the airport) which are payable in addition to the Qantas Points required. To receive the 30% discount, all flights in your Trip must be eligible Classic Flight Rewards booked in the same cabin.
