Remember the murders that took place at the Ziva Riviera Cancun earlier this month (read more here), and which Hyatt now refers to as an “incident?’
Hyatt has now approached guests who were staying at this property and offered them 75,000 points due to disruption caused by the “incident” that some Mexican media calls an “execution.” Hyatt tries not to remind guests what took place at the property; shootings and two people dead. I hardly would define this merely as an inconvenient “incidence.”

Here’s the letter from Hyatt & Playa:
Here’s what took place in early November:
Not sure if we will ever know what exactly took place at this Hyatt-affiliated all-inclusive hotel in Cancun.
Was the Playa management utterly oblivious to what was happening with the (accused) drug dealers at their hotel, and did Hyatt’s management turn a blind eye?
