Alaska Airlines joined the Oneworld Alliance on March 30, 2021 (read more here), but it has been slow at releasing award bookings for partner airlines and still hasn’t an integrated award chart, rather than partner specific.
Alaska made Qatar Airways available for bookings earlier this year (read more here) and has today enabled Iberia as well. However, there are still five Oneworld airlines whose awards are unavailable for Alaska Mileage Plan members.

Conclusion
Alaska tends to over promise and under deliver when it comes to integrating partner airline awards into the Mileage Plan program. For example, all Oneworld partners were promised to be available for online bookings this past summer and then fall, and now sometime in 2022.
It is annoying that you cannot mix and match partners for comprehensive awards and the lack of an award chart that would include all the regions where partner airlines fly. Also, Mileage Plan partner awards were excellent, but most recent partner charts, including Iberia, are not exciting.
However much I like Spain and I really do, I absolutely loath flying on Iberia. They are my absolute last choice if no other options exist.
