Conrad Cartagena opened for business in 2018, and I managed to stay at the property in the same year. Unfortunately, the hotel exited the Hilton system in November 2020, and all the furniture and fixtures were removed from the property the same year.
Hyatt-owned AMR, part of Apple Leisure Group, announced earlier this month that they expect to open a hotel called Dreams Karibana Cartagena Beach & Golf Resort around April 1, 2022, without disclosing that it is the former Conrad that has been closed for a while.

ARM Collection is one of the Apple Leisure Group brands that cater to the all-inclusive segment in a supposedly luxurious setting.

Conclusion
An exciting turn of events for this hotel, which was a Conrad for a very brief period, then closed and is now about to turn into an all-inclusive hotel affiliated with the Hyatt.
I didn’t like the hotel due to its location being too much outside of the city. It is better for those who intend to stay put in the property for an extended period without planning to venture out.
If you want to stay at a good hotel in Cartagena, there is only one option Sofitel Legend Santa Clara.
