Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles Buy Miles 75% Bonus Through May 2, 2022

Turkish Airlines has launched one of its rare miles sales with a bonus through May 2, 2022.

Miles&Smiles members can buy up to 99,999 miles with a 75% bonus (174,998 miles).

Bonus Table:

• Buy 5.000 – 24.999 Miles, earn 25% extra Miles
• Buy 25.000 – 49.999 Miles, earn 50% extra Miles
• Buy 50.000 – 99.999 Miles, earn 75% extra Miles

Turkish Airlines hasn’t made buying miles on its website very convenient. You need to log in, choose “Miles Transactions” and then scroll down and click “Buy.”

You need to choose “Miles” and then “For me” and indicate the number of miles you wish to buy up to 99,999.

The price of 99,999 miles + 75% bonus is $3,000. The price of a mile is 1.71 US cents each

Nothing indicates that you also earn bonus miles for these purchases.

Conclusion

Turkish Airlines rarely sells its miles with a bonus that is clearly visible how difficult they have made it (too many clicks).

I know that Freddo likes Turkish with upgrade certs, but I have never quite bought into the program. The awards are very reasonably priced on their own flights, but booking partners is still a challenge (it shouldn’t be in 2022).
