AeroMexico has launched a new offer to get American Express cardholders to convert their Membership Rewards points to miles.

Club Premier bonuses conversions from Membership Rewards by 40% if you have not converted any from them in the past two years or by 30% if you have.

Bonus Schedule:

– Club Premier members who have not converted Membership Rewards points in the past 2 years will earn a 40% bonus.

– Club Premier members who have converted Membership Rewards points in the past 2 years will earn a 30% bonus.

Conclusion

It always makes sense to convert banking points to miles when there is a bonus if you have been contemplating for a while and have a good use for them.

Merely converting because of a bonus makes no sense, however.

To make Transfers, the name of the Club Premier Account holder must match the Holder of the American Express Card linked to the Membership Rewards Program from which the Points are subtracted. It does NOT apply to additional cardholders.

For each Membership Rewards Point transferred to Club Premier, the member earns 1.15 (one point fifteen) Premier Points, plus the corresponding bonus calculated on this basis.
