American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping has surprised many members by suddenly posting transactions done in 2019 over the past week.
Cartera must have found a file they didn’t process or never made it to AA that year and decided that it is better late than never to dump these miles to rightful AAdvantage members.
A LoyaltyLobby reader sent us the screenshot above, but I have seen several similar over the past week.

Conclusion
Perhaps Cartera, the company that handles AAdvantage eShopping, can clear their 2019 backlog by the end of this year and then start posting 2020 transactions?
But seriously, most of these airline-related shopping “malls” are handled by this company that provides very little in terms of customer support that is expected.
If things post as they should, good, but if they don’t, don’t waste your time.
