Recently a new lounge option has been added to the choices for domestic flyers at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport as the Coral Executive Lounge opened in late April and is now the best lounge at that particular concourse.
The Coral Lounge is accessible with a variety of lounge memberships such as Priority Pass, together with the Miracle Lounge as well as Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways Lounge.
This marks the third Priority Pass acessible addition to the Bangkok domestic concourse in a short period of time as first the new Miracle Lounge opened, then Thai Airways domestic lounge joined the Priority Pass system, and now the new Coral Executive Lounge which is undoubtedly the best of the pack.
I visited the lounge on Sunday and took some pictures inside:
Both Priority Pass and Lounge Key are accepted. There were also a couple of local banking affiliations and a paid entry option of 1,200 THB that was “discounted” to 850 THB Opening Special. Not sure who pays these prices but this is one instance where Priority Pass shines again.
Furniture here is very nice and comfortable. They did a great job with the design of the space overall.
The options for food and beverage are more than adequate, especially for a domestic lounge. Plenty of cold items, pastries, and even five hot choices are available for consumption.
They even have a bar with beer on tap as well as cocktails. Fantastic!
I guess one could his money’s worth after all even when paying for access here but obviously this is an excellent option to visit prior to the flight. Just don’t partake in the cocktails too much or you might miss your flight!
The Coral Executive Lounge is the latest addition to the lounge portfolio for domestic flyers from Bangkok’s main Airport.
Opening hours for the new facility in Concourse A are 05:00 – 22:00 daily. I’ll test later this week if they will allow access upon arrival as well since with checked bags there is always some time to kill either way.
