Marriott Bonvoy’s latest global promotion ended months ago, but select members are now eligible for targeted offers on stays through October 31, 2022.
These latest offers are valid for the month you sign up + an additional two (previously three). Please post in the comments what you were targeted for, if any.

These targeted offers were adopted into Marriott Bonvoy from SPG, and they took some time off in 2020.
Marriott Bonvoy has not sent out emails about these new offers that went live yesterday, but you can always check if one is available in your account by checking Promotion Central.
Remember that only paid stays (not awards) count towards these bonus offers. You can combine targeted offers with global and property-specific ones.

Registered members can earn double Elite Night Credits on all eligible paid nights consumed during the promotion’s earning period (the “Promotion”). Earning period starts the day after the member registers and continues through the end of the month, plus an additional two (2) months (the “Earning Period”). Bonus Elite Night Credits will be awarded to the member’s account within three to five (3–5) business days after the qualifying stays post. Elite Night Credits will count only toward the status year in which they are posted
Conclusion
There is no rhyme for who is eligible for these targeted bonuses, but I would assume that the most lucrative ones go to members who haven’t stayed with Marriott for a while.
Unfortunately, Marriott has cut the validity of these targeted offers by a month. I wish Marriott Bonvoy would roll out a worthwhile global promotion.
