IHG Releases More Information About Iberostar Beachfront Resorts

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Iberostar reached an agreement in November (read more here) that would see 70 properties join the IHG system under Iberostar Beachfront Resorts, essentially all properties outside of city centers and Cuba.

Some hotels are already appearing on rate searches executed on IHG’s website, but links resolve to Iberostar’s website.

IHG has now released a list of 29 properties that will soon be available for booking on their website and to which loyalty benefits apply once they have been integrated into the IHG One Rewards:

“Later In 2023” could mean by the end of 2023. It usually takes at least a year before properties become loyalty program participating if other similar deals are of any indication. However, earning and redeeming points could be enabled quite fast.

Iberostar Beachfront Resorts will start to be included in the IHG One Rewards loyalty program later in 2023.

Conclusion

It seems that IHG plans to get these Iberostar Beachfront Resorts hotels out on their platform as soon as possible, as the all-inclusive sector is HOT, and IHG is missing in the field.

They are likely available to book on IHG’s platform earlier than they are implemented into IHG One Rewards.
