Delta Medallion Status Fast Track Offers In 2023

Delta Air Lines, like most other North American carriers, offers a status fast-track program for large corporate accounts.

Delta has now launched four variations of Medallion status accelerators for various business segments that are all valid throughout 2023.

It is interesting that all four offers are similar and different at the same time.

Tech:

Book and fly within 6 months of enrollment to earn your reward. Note that flights booked prior to enrollment will not count toward earning.

• Earn 6 months of Silver Medallion® Status after 4 qualifying one-way flights OR 10K MQMs
• Earn 12 months of Gold Medallion® Status after 8 qualifying one-way flights OR 30K MQMs

OR

• Earn 250 bonus miles per qualifying one way flight, up to 1,000 bonus miles

Consulting:

Book a business trip through your company’s authorized booking channel. Then, keep flying for business within 6 months of enrollment to earn your reward. Note that flights booked prior to enrollment will not count toward earning.

• Earn 12 months of Gold Medallion® Status after 8 qualifying one-way flights
• Earn 12 months of Platinum Medallion® Status after 16 qualifying one-way flights

Banking

Book a business trip through your company’s authorized booking channel. Then, keep flying for business within 6 months of enrollment to earn your reward. Note that flights booked prior to enrollment will not count toward earning.

• Earn 6 months of Silver Medallion® Status after 6 qualifying one-way flights OR 10K MQMs
• Earn 12 months of Gold Medallion® Status after 10 qualifying one-way flights OR 30K MQMs

Corporate

Book a business trip through your company’s authorized booking channel. Then, keep flying for business within 6 months of enrollment to earn your reward. Leisure travel will only count toward qualification after the initial business trip.

• Earn 12 months of Gold Medallion® Status after 12 qualifying one-way flights

Conclusion

Delta must be doing some testing here about what works best in terms of corporate status accelerators. I cannot think of any other reason for releasing four variations of the very same offer.

The travel departments of any large corporate usually can get new team members to sign up with various elite tiers of preferred travel partners, including hotels and airlines.
