Qatar Airways, in December, extended select member tiers through March 31, 2023 (read more here) and has now launched new offers to make it easier for members to requalify.
Privilege Club members can earn double Qpoints for flights (read more here) and requalify on fewer Qpoints if their tier ends between January – March 2023. You can also buy Qpoints at a discount until March 31.

Reduced Tier Points:
You can requalify for your current status on fewer Qpoints. Not eligible for tier upgrades.
Qpoints Sale:
Privilege Club sells Qpoints at a discount. You can buy them at $15 each instead of the usual $25.
Conclusion
Some members may already requalify for their current tier due to reduced requirements. Otherwise, you can purchase Qpoints at a discount o,r a novel idea, to fly on the airline and earn double Qpoints.
Qpoints sale terms:
- Offer period: 8 January – 31 March 2023.
- Regular cost per Qpoint is $25 USD. Only during the offer period the cost per Qpoint is reduced to $15 USD.
- Only Privilege Club main members are eligible to buy Qpoints.
- Platinum, Gold and Silver members can buy Qpoints to retain their tier.
- Gold, Silver and Burgundy members can buy Qpoints to upgrade to the next tier.
- Qpoints purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Reduced Tier Qualification terms:
Eligible members can benefit from a reduced amount of Qpoints needed to retain their Privilege Club tier. To understand the Qpoints needed to retain your membership tier, view the tables below.
To be eligible for this offer, your tier must expire between 1 January and 31 March 2023. Eligible members only need to hold the Qpoints mentioned under “offer period”. If your tier expires after this date, the “standard requirements” apply.
