A LoyaltyLobby reader sent us a question by email if Hilton Honors extends status for multiyear Diamond members that fail to qualify?
Hilton Honors has bonus or discount promotions with variable percentages for buying points every month but seems that they have “secret” on-going promotion that is valid through the end of the year.
The offer that can be accessed through the special link that Hilton Honors has emailed to select members comes with 60% bonus. The highest bonus that comes and goes every few months is 100% and max discount is 50% (same point purchase price).
Here’s look at the top 5 most lucrative hotel promotions that you can take advantage of this month.
Remember that it really pays to take advantage of bonus and promotional offers from hotel loyalty programs. You can supercharge your point earnings!
Hilton Honors Summer Weekends Up To 25% Off Sale For Europe, Middle East & Africa Through October 8, 2018 (Book By September 3)
Hilton Honors launched back in early June their traditional Summer Weekends Sale for stays in Europe, Middle East and Africa, although some hotels may offer midweek availability too.
Members can save up to 25% off of the Best Flexible rate (non-member discount is capped at 15%). The sale is valid for stays through October 8 and must be booked by September 3.
Last week, I wrote about the Hilton’s Airlines Staff rate (read more here) that is discounted anywhere between 25% to 50% off and used to be Travel Agent offer at the same time.
Hilton has launched completely separate rate that is available for those that work in the travel agencies and have applicable credentials. This rate plan is not eligible for points or stay/night credit.
Cartagena continues growing as one of the top destinations in the Caribbean and all the major hotel chains are either fully established or developing properties in the city and its surroundings. In the last 5 years Intercontinental, Radisson, Hyatt Regency (which I reviewed last year), Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn have started operating properties in the city.
Last December, Conrad Hotels & Resorts inaugurated their 1st property in South America (and 34th worldwide): a beach resort and golf club in Cartagena, Colombia. I happened to be in the area and decided to check what the latest addition to the chain was about!
Conrad Hotels, the international brand of luxury hotels and resorts owned and operated by Hilton Worldwide, opened last december their 34th property worldwide, 8th beach resort and 1st South American property in Cartagena, Colombia.
Right after they opened I had the chance of trying this new property, but for diverse reasons I’ve been postponing writing about it. Too many pictures and video footage to edit haven’t helped my cause. That’s why I’ve decided to force myself to finish the review the best way I know: self-imposing me a deadline!
